 Aveen graduated from the Cork School of Music with an honours BMus degree in 2001. She studied violin under the guidance of Ruxandra Pectu for 5 years. She received her Licentiate in violin performance from the Trinity College of Music, London in 2002. She is currently a full time music teacher in Dun Laoghaire Music Centre and teaches privately in St. Gerards' School, Bray.
